I think it's on the front page because it features lovely, beautifully-drawn characters, with a simple background to allow us to focus on both the male and female. The original artwork has a line of characters with names next to it and not much of a large background around them. With this picture, I can imagine almost anything with these two characters!

Anyway, nice edit! Black and white always a classic, and the background helps make this look very sleek. :)
Even if the original "deserves to be on the front page" more, coming upon this made me find the original. And I am very happy that I did! CHARACTERS ARE BEAUTIFUL. :faint:

oh come on guys, give this artist a break. Didn't she mention in the artist comment that she already did ask permission and did put the linked to the original artist. besides both of them are awesome art pieces, its just that this one portrays a more drama feeling in it. like this 2 pair showing some sort of love connection feel between them at the same time they look sad that can't be together. and I like them both as a pairing. which Im sure Im not the only one who like them as a couple. that's why this piece has more favor. Well, that's what i see and feel in this piece...lol
